An all-glass enclosure surrounds the aqua park, which covers 20 hectares (49 acres). It is possible to slide open or close the glass-panelled domed roof to create a palm-tree-filled paradise as the weather dictates. Approximately 3500 tons of steel were used, along with 9,700 square meters of sandwich panel facades, 9,000 square meters of glass cladding, 4,000 square meters of glazed sliding roofs, and 29,000 square meters of membrane covered flat roofs.
